Karen is an Artist and Storyteller, bringing heartfelt narratives to life

Karen Curran is an Australian Artist and Storyteller who uses pen and ink, watercolour, metallic paints and inks, and gold leaf to create her unusual paintings and designs. Her work often explores ethereal and unseen worlds, fantasy, nature, and the quiet wonder woven through life.

Karen has decades of experience in Art, Graphic Design, Teaching, and Art Therapy. During her later years as a Transpersonal Creative Therapist, she became increasingly drawn to the symbolic, reflective, and transpersonal elements within art and storytelling.

Karen believes that “you are so much more than you imagine” and hopes to gently inspire those who connect with her art, stories, courses, and creative offerings.

Her work is created with the intention of inspiring wonder, joy, hope, and gentle reflection and often invites reflection on the deeper and often unseen layers of life.
