a painting of many watercolours - vibrant with a feeling of dance

Freedom Dance of Healing - this is a recent painting from the heart. It began one afternoon with a metallic watercolour background, then solid colours. In my musings whilst I worked I thought I was painting flowers. However, as I kept turning the paper around and around and added more and more colour, a different picture began to emerge. By the time I added the dots I realised that there was a feeling like a freedom dance of promise in the painting - part of my healing at the time.

For anyone who understands '5 Rhythms Dance', it was a feeling like that. I wondered if the picture was echoing my original desire to be able to dance again. I felt that it was assuring me of my upcoming healing - which on another ‘plane’ has already happened.

Regardless, it is a happy picture and made me feel good. I may add it to my shop collection soon.
